B and B School Turns 30
From one pupil in a boys' quarter on 1 May 1997 to a nursery and primary school in Akobo, Ibadan: B and B School is celebrating 30 years.

On 1 May 1997, B and B School welcomed its very first pupil, in a boys' quarter in Ibadan. For three months that one child was the whole school. Thirty years later, we are celebrating three decades of learning, laughter and growing up together.
Little drops of water make a mighty ocean
From the boys' quarter the school moved to a rented apartment, and then to its permanent site in Basorun Estate, Akobo. Today it cares for children from Creche to Grade 6, with a library, a laboratory and a computer room.
Along the way, B and B pupils have won JETS competitions, topped the National Common Entrance Examination and taken Best in Mathematics in the Lagelu Local Government Olympiad. You can read more about them in our story.
